Not only is AMA Atlanta the third largest chapter of the American Marketing Association, it sits inside one of the fastest rising digital marketing hubs in the country. Atlanta is filled with some of the region's top talent and most exciting firms, which is why AMA Atlanta needed a new site to help them better connect with the marketing community, serve their members and attract new ones.
BRAND & AUDIENCE INSIGHTS
AMA Atlanta's diverse audience was its greatest opportunity and also its biggest challenge. It wasn't enough for the new website to just provide resources for members or to simply add value for Atlanta marketers looking to join. AMA Atlanta's new website needed to speak to members, potential members, students and sponsors alike. The chapter also had specific goals of increasing member sign-ups and registration for their world-class educational events.
SOLVING THE PROBLEM
Nebo Redesigned the website from the ground up, implementing a beautiful responsive design, SEO best practices and fresh copy. The new site architecture was constructed to help different kinds of users easily find the content that would be most relevant to them. Nebo also implemented a custom CMS so that site content could be easily updated to AMA Atlanta's dynamic needs.
Membership-based content was expanded to better communicate benefits of joining to potential members while events were more effectively highlighted on the site so that registration would be easier. We wrote and curated content to highlight Special Interest Groups within AMA Atlanta and further entice new members to join while also highlighting sponsor benefits to nurture partnerships with Atlanta's top companies. We streamlined Analytics, goal tracking and event tracking to give AMA Atlanta a more robust understanding of user behavior on the site.
We topped it all off with a brand new logo designed to bring a more modern feel to the chapter and help it stand out in Atlanta's large, fast-moving marketing community.
