We Need Your Help To Transform Education in Atlanta
Three months ago, we were approached by Leadership Atlanta and the organizers of the (co)lab Summit with a big task: to awaken the change agents within Atlanta and inspire the region’s most talented citizens to help transform education.
To do this, we were tasked with writing briefs, helping to rally the community around education, and designing/producing two short videos that would bring to light the challenges our city is facing in regards to educating our children to life.
Our goal is to get as many ideas and solutions as we can out of concerned Atlanta regional citizens surrounding the two key challenges in education—increasing graduation rates and growing the next generation of leaders—and share them on an online collaboration tool called IdeaString.
The end result will be a collection of thousands of ideas that can then be filtered, synthesized, mapped, and shared back to all (co)lab attendees, partners, sponsors, and concerned citizens.
The top five ideas for each topic will be presented during the closing keynote at (co)lab, during which the audience will decide and commit to making one idea within each challenge come alive.
